During our road trip through Albania, we spent two nights at the working farm of Florian and his family. They are incredibly friendly and hard working people that have created a little safe haven high up in the mountains of Valbonë. Marlboro Man and his family live next door at a ten-minute walk. Other than that, we were only sharing the mountain with the goats, horses, cows, the most adorable kittens and two dogs (with a bunch of puppies coming soon). The eagles had taken off for cooler places.

 

Speaking about temperatures: although it was 37 degrees Celsius and we were sleeping in a piping hot attic room, I did not miss the airco. Ok I'm lying now :-).
